Vinyl Graphics Department of a Large Car Dealership, sales & repair of New & Used vehicles for Trade & Public.

Key Responsibilities and Skills Required:
Design, production & application of graphics & marketing material for: our own dealerships, accident repaired vehicles & retail customers. Successful applicant will go on to achieve SVQ Level Apprenticeship in sign making including:

– Learn how to use relevant software e.g. Adobe Illustrator/Creative suite
– Become proficient in suitable Material/Media Selection for specific application processes
– Graphic application techniques to signage and vehicles
– Learn Safety Procedures for On & Off-site work & working at heights
– Keep work area clean & tidy
– Collecting and delivering materials (age/insurance permitting)

Education Requirements:
– Standard Grade education.
– Experience not essential although an interest in graphics design or similar would be a bonus.
– CSCS/PASMA and any other construction related accreditations would be an advantage.

Aptitudes:
– Punctual, Reliable & Conscientious.
– Good literacy skills & attention to detail.
– Good Communication Skills.
– Familiar with basic computing.
– Comfortable Working at heights and on access equipment. E.g. Scissor Lift/Scaffold.

Job Overview
This role is based in Kelvin South Business Park in East Kilbride where you will be providing office support for an established local company. Ongoing training will be available and it is hoped that the individual can develop the role and in turn build a career within the business.What might a typical day look like? 
Providing support to the Operations/Service Team
Answering telephone/reception duties
Dealing with incoming/outgoing mail including franking machine
Issue quotations, all electronically to customers
Updating Service Contract schedules/issue paperwork
Maintaining/issuing sample results

What will I learn?
Full on the job training will be provided as well as opportunity for personal development with relevant training courses.  You will work towards achieving a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 in Business Administration.
