Head of Fundraising
Anne joined A&M Scotland in January 2015 bringing almost 18 years of fundraising experience with her.
Anne’s career began in 1997 when she took up the post of Events Manager with leukaemia charity Anthony Nolan. A cause very close to Anne’s heart she remained with them for more 13 years. Her role within the organisation changed many times and gave her a wide range of experience from event organisation to managing corporate partnerships and dealing with marketing of the charity’s aims and ambitions across her region.
In 2012 she joined children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent where she widened her experience of management, corporate fundraising and working within larger organisational partnerships to raise both funds and the profile of the charity.
After more than 17 years working for large national charities Anne was delighted to make the move to A&M Scotland after getting to know Robert and Andy. She hopes to raise the profile of the charity across all of Scotland and put in place a successful and thriving fundraising portfolio that will allow A&M Scotland to expand and reach more young people in Scotland’s most deprived areas.
Anne is married and has 3 young children. She is a proud Glaswegian and often refers to herself as a ‘Govan Girl’.
“A&M Scotland gives me the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people here in Scotland – I will work so hard to ensure I deliver the funds and profile to allow us to branch out, aim high and achieve all we can to reach as many kids as possible.”
