As part of our employability programme at A&M Scotland we are running a residential from the 11th to the 13th of August for those currently engaged in our activities that are looking to enter the world of work. We will host a fun weekend at the Lockerbie Manor, a big house located in the south of Scotland to help you to find your own path on employment. Nike has given us a unique opportunity
Thanks to our partnership with sports giants Nike, 16 young people involved in our football programme we invited to participate in the week long Manchester United Summer Soccer Schools which took place at Denstone College and Rugby School in July. As part of the programme, a soccer skills challenge took place and one of our participants – Jack Morran from Blackhill won the challenge. Holiday Programmes
During 2015 we have delivered another round of successful holiday programmes at Petershill Leisure Centre and Kingsway Multi Use Games Area. We catered for an average of 150 young people each day at Easter, Summer and October and thanks to Bauer Radio Cash For Kids every participant was fed each day. A&M are continuing to provide free sport throughout the City of Glasgow to ensure that young people can remain active. Following on from the success of the Easter Camp and

Our young people had the chance to participate in two international trips to France and Vietnam to help local communities. Through partner collaborations, we manage to arrange volunteering experiences for them in different international communities. We believe these international trips are a great learning experience that will shape their identities and personalities in the future. 10 young people to Ullswater in the English Lake District
A&M Scotland take 10 young people on a residential to Ullswater in the English Lake District. The young people spent 3 days participating in outdoor activities, pushing them to their limits. The weekend was run by 'The Outward Bounds Trust' at their purpose built centre in Ullswater. The Outward Bounds Trust is an educational charity that uses the outdoors to help develop young people, equipping them with valuable skills for education, work and life.
