Our goal for each participant is that you become the best you can be, that’s why Dream Big is our motto.  At A&M Scotland we are passionate about people and passionate about employability. Through the employability programme we will encourage and journey with you as we support you to follow your dreams. We want you to grow your skills, develop yourself professionally and flourish within employment, education or training of your choice.  I want you to ask yourself 3 questions.

1. What am I passionate about?
2. What are my existing skills?
3. Do I want to make a difference?

Every Friday we will talk about Employability and how to improve your chances to get a job. Please, leave a comment in the section below If you have any questions and next week we will gather them and answer all.

You Are an Asset

Our main objective within this programme is to fully support you and provide you with the opportunities that will help you access, achieve, sustain and develop within employment, education or training that is best for you.

There are a number of ways we can do this as we empower you to become an asset for any potential employers.

1. We want to help you identify your existing skill set and create opportunities for you to build upon these.
2. Direct and guide you as you may not be sure of what is the best path for you at this moment in time.
3. Allow you to gain recognised qualifications that will help you to access college courses, employment or modern apprenticeships.
4. Give you opportunities as a volunteer to gain valuable work experience.
5. Create full time employment opportunities that are best suited to you as an individual.

One To One Support

At A&M we know that everyone is individual and everyone has different needs. On this basis full support will be given to each individual as we look to move any obstacles that could be in the way to securing employment, education or training. Also everyone has a different skill set and background. We are committed to helping you achieve your full potential and being placed within the right environment that motivates you and keeps you focused.

Believe & Achieve

We believe that everyone can achieve their full potential and reach their goals if they are given the right support, direction and guidance. Our aim is that you are motivated and fulfilled within your place of employment, education or training. We want you to be involved in things that you are passionate about and know you are making a difference. On this basis we will job match you with the correct employer through our employability programme.

In Work Support & Aftercare

Once you have achieved employment, education or training A&M will provide follow up support as we continue to journey with you. We want to make sure that you are satisfied within your role and still feel fully supported in the workplace. This support network will provide and enhance continual professional development. You never stop growing or learning as we continue to add to your existing skills set. This helps you to continually grow and develop personally & professionally. This enables you to continue to be an asset to your existing employer also.
