Hi! I’m Eilidh, I’m 21 years old and I’m from West Linton, a small village just south of Edinburgh. In September 2020 I moved to Bremen, Germany, to take part in a one-year volunteering project through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), a programme funded and supported by Erasmus+ and the EU. I am volunteering for NaturKultur e.V., an NGO that organises international projects and opportunities for young people living in Europe. I arrived in Bremen at the start of September and

At the core of our work with Erasmus+ are our partners across Europe. We have partners in Germany, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and France who we make projects with. These projects are supporting research into youth work, sport and community development along with creating the next community leaders in Scotland! Today we hear from our European partners on the value of Erasmus+ and their opinion on Brexit. We work with local partners across Glasgow to support them to participate in Erasmus+ and

We work with local partners across Glasgow to support them to participate in Erasmus+ and send their young people on life changing exchanges. We also work with local partners to support youth workers to exchange best practice and bring their learning back to Glasgow communities. Our Everything Erasmus+ campaign today focuses on the impact of Erasmus+ on partners

Kiera, Head of Dance for Achieve More Scotland has taken part in a youth worker training in Macedonia. In 2017 Kiera attended a 5-day training course with 30 other youth workers from across Europe to explore using dance to support young people at risk of offending. Kiera puts her Erasmus+ experience down to her growing maturity in her youth work practice that supports over 1000 girls and young women across the City of Glasgow each week. Since then, Kiera has supported 4 young women to take

Les 22, from Springburn had his first Erasmus+ experience whilst he was unemployed and volunteering with Achieve More Scotland. Youth workers kept pointing out that Les spoke well to things that matter for young people and so he was offered the opportunity to go to Portugal for 1 week with 20 other young people from across Europe to discuss democracy and young people. It was the first time Les had been on a plane and the first time he had
